Our Story

For Zaida, baking has always been more than just a hobby—it’s a lifelong passion. Growing up in El Salvador, she was enchanted by the comforting scents of fresh bread from her family’s bakery. Over the years, baking became her creative outlet, a way to unwind and share joy with others.

After 16 years as a respiratory therapist, Zaida decided to follow her dreams. She took a bold step and opened Belen’s Bakery, turning her love for baking into a business that celebrates her culture while embracing new flavors.

Belen’s Bakery –

A Taste of Home, A Dash of Passion

At Belen’s Bakery, we believe that every bite should feel like home. Founded by Zaida Melendez, a passionate baker with deep Salvadoran roots, our bakery brings a unique fusion of Salvadoran and American flavors to Worcester. From traditional sweet breads to indulgent custom cakes, everything we bake is made with love, heritage, and the finest ingredients.
